I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Dallas Market Hall. We were in town to attend the Texas Reptile Expo. My room was on the 3rd floor, room 306. One of my chief requests at any hotel is that I have a completely feather free room. I am highly allergic to feathers and the front desk assured me that they had made sure to remove any feather pillows and they did. The lobby, breakfast area and rooms were very clean and I have zero complaints about cleanliness. Our room was a two room suite with two queen beds. There is a coffee pot and microwave that is on the shelf next to the bedroom door and a fridge that is hidden out of sight below that. The beds were very comfortable. The AC works great! Almost too good! I had to break out the extra blanket. Housekeeping was very friendly and brought me a trash bag and clean towels upon request. I was somewhat concerned with the location based on what I saw when I got off of I35, but there was no need to worry, we and my truck were perfectly safe. There is a security person that sits outside and watches over the property. My one complaint stems from the gravy at breakfast. I think my Southern ancestors would have turned in their graves had they tasted that. I am not sure if someone confused it with wall spackling or what but it was inedible. The breakfast was fine otherwise. I did try it on the 2nd day of our stay and it was just as bad the 2nd time around. What ever they did to that gravy - please don't do it again. If you forget to bring a few items, there is a WalMart and a Target about 2 miles down the street from the hotel. The hotel is about 12 minutes to the Dallas Trade Mart. If you want to make use of the DART system and take a trip to Dealey Plaza - it is super cheap and the parking at a DART park and ride is free. Download the GoPass app from the app store and you can add money. It's $6 for an all day pass or $2.50 per ride - one way.

Used this hotel as it is close to a Holt Cat dealer and I’m an employee training for the week. It is in a very bad area as other reviewers described but it had a security guard and I was willing to take the risk. Was quoted 139.00 a day and I said that’s good I needed it for the week. Room was nice although the walls were thin and the ac unit sounded like an airplane trying to take off when the compressor kicked in. I did not complain about these things, I realize some things the front desk just can’t control. However when I checked out and asked for a copy of the bill I was shocked to see that the daily charges were 139, 179, 199, 199, and 139. I spoke with the guy at the front desk and he said he didn’t know why but would have the asst manager Jennifer call when she came in Went to class the whole day and got no call. Drove 4 hours home and called and she said Jennifer would be in at 11 pm and would call me in the morning. I called back at 6:30 before her shift ended and she said it was common practice to change the rates daily without people’s consent. I asked since my credit card was charged when I arrive was this not a contract to which she stated it was only a hold put on the card. She then stated I needed to talk to the manager Tim when he arrived back to work on Monday. This is not even my credit card that was charged it was the company’s but it’s about the principle now. The fact that I have to wait 4 days for something to be corrected that should have happened when brought to their attention the first time. There is a major disconnect between the auditors, managers, and customers. Will see how Tim handles this Monday before I write a review on Holts credit card statement that I have to submit, for all of holts company’s to see how Marriott treats its customers.

Good location with eating places nearby. Clean surroundings. Free Breakfast and Wifi. Relatively clean rooms. I just didn't like the extra taxes they charged me different than what I agreed to pay for. They did not adjust it for me. They have my credit card on-file yet did not charge me until I checked-in and overcharged me in the process.

Excellent value!!! Amazing staff that loves their job reflected by how they treat their customers. From check in to check out. Housekeeping, breakfast crew, front desk are always with a smile and offering assistance. The facility is clean, bathroom, gym, pool. The room is spacious and comfortable

Wonderful experience. The whole staff was very friendly and attentive. The general manager seemed to be working 24hrs/day yet he was still the friendliest person. Great rooms with modern design. A few suspicious women were wondering the streets near hotel but they mean no harm.
